Building Homes in Haiti

We have been rebuilding homes in Haiti since the earthquake in 2010, however, more important than building homes, we are building community.    Our homes become community projects where neighbors help each other to complete their homes.

Educating Children

In underdeveloped countries, education is the key to escaping a life of poverty and this is particularly true of Haiti. Yet education is not free in Haiti and many families struggle to be able to keep their children in school. As inflation soars out of control and school fees follow, many have to choose between educating their children and putting food on the table. The Conejo Compassion Coalition has stepped in to help several of these families keep their children in school by paying the children’s school fees.
