SAVING LIVES IN UKRAINE

As the war rages in Ukraine, thousands of innocent civilians are being killed, hundreds of thousands are fleeing for their lives and those who cannot escape find themselves without the basic necessities of life such as food, water and shelter. In keeping with our mission to aid the poor and the oppressed around the world, the Conejo Compassion Coalition has partnered with a small nonprofit called God’s Hidden Treasures. This organization has been active in the Ukraine for more than 20 years providing wheelchairs and other equipment to the disabled. When the current conflict broke out this organization used it’s resources to help others escape the violence. God’s Hidden Treasures is sending vans filled with the disabled and the most vulnerable Ukraine citizens to safety in Poland and Slovakia. The vans then return to the Ukraine with supplies procured in neighboring countries for those who cannot or choose not to escape.
